How it works
Five steps, about as long as it takes to type your numbers.
Find your agency
Search for your agency on the home page. Every agency in TCOLE’s statewide file is listed, with a free draft built from the 2025 report it filed.
Start this year’s report
You get a private link to a form laid out like TCOLE’s online form, section by section. Bookmark it: it’s the only way back to your report, and anyone with it can open the report.
Enter your numbers
Type them, or paste blocks of cells from a spreadsheet. Each section says straight away whether its totals add up, and a checks list points to any box that doesn’t. Add each racial profiling complaint with its outcome and resolution.
Choose the population to compare with
We suggest the Census area that matches your agency type. You can pick another Texas county, city or school district, or enter your own figures and name their source. The report says which was used.
Pay and download
Pay $395 by card. Once every total adds up you can download the comparative analysis PDF (upload it in TCLEDDS with your online report), the governing body summary PDF and the CSV tables. Review them, complete the agency sections if you wish, and have the chief administrator sign.
What you still do yourself
- Pull the year’s counts from your records system.
- Fill in TCOLE’s online form in TCLEDDS (the report’s Appendix C lists your numbers in the form’s order) and upload the PDF.
- Send the report to your governing body.
- Write any findings or explanations: the report leaves marked sections for them.
